Ashlee Nederhood, Dipl. Acu.
About Me
In 2005, I began my career in health care as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Radiology. I began to realize that I wanted to change the focus for my future to a more holistic, natural career in medicine. During the completion of my Holistic Health Master's certificate from Western Michigan University, I was an acupuncture intern at the Ascension Borgess Health & Fitness Center. It was then that I decided I wanted to become an acupuncturist.
Over the next 4 years, I completed an extensive 3,000+ hour acupuncture apprenticeship with Paul Enright, Dipl. Acu. at the Ascension Borgess Health & Fitness Center, Sisters of Nazareth, and Inner Journey Clinic in Niles, MI. In 2015, I passed the three national acupuncture boards in Foundations of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture with Point Location, and Bio(Western)Medicine and became a nationally board certified acupuncturist.
It is incredibly empowering and humbling to finally be living out my dreams of helping people heal naturally. I believe that the body has an extraordinary ability to heal itself and unfortunately our fast lives, diets, stress, lack of exercise, and other factors sometimes disrupt the body's ability to do that. As an acupuncturist, my goal is to help facilitate the process of getting your body into a healthy, harmonious balance. I look forward to helping you achieve your health and wellness goals.
